College of Human Ecology
Founded in 1983, the College of Human Ecology emphasizes commitment to human dignity, family prosperity, and environmental protection. Our programs cover issues critical to the human experience, from fundamentals such as food and housing, to other needs such as travel, education, and happiness.
The Department of Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management; Department of Child and Family Studies; Department of Food Science; Department of Nutritional Science; and PhD Program in Nutrition and Food Science offer a wide array of programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Over the course of its history, the College has been led by six deans: John Ning-Yuean Lee, Shau-Yen Huang, Guoo-Shyng Wang, Bin-Huei Chen, Sulee Tsai, and the current dean, Chih-Ching Teng.
